Astigmatism Management

Limbal Relaxing Incisions (LRI) are a modification of the cornea as a way to reduce various amounts of astigmatism for better uncorrected vision after surgery. LRI’s can be performed at the time of cataract surgery or as an independent procedure. When surgery is required Dr. Kvitle makes the appropriate referrals to a specialist that does the procedure.
