That's why we provide you with a comprehensive eye health examination, a thorough explanation of your condition, answer your questions and prescribe the latest eye care technology and treatments. For your added convenience, we also feature a professional, high quality yet affordable optical dispensary.
Your sight and overall health of your eyes are precious. Take time to guard them carefully. Dr. Kvitle will examine for the presence of eye disease such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic, retinopathy, floaters and detached retina. As always, Dr. Kvitle will discuss treatment options for each patient. Steel and other foreign bodies can be easily and painlessly removed right in our office with out a trip to the emergency room.
Dr. Kirk Kvitle graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He has practiced in Quincy since 1986. Dr. Kvitle is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. He is therapeutically certified to diagnose and treat eye diseases.
Misti is a Certified Optician and has worked in the optometric field since 1993. She has been a member of the Family EyeCare team since its inception. Along with her clinical background she can also be found assisting in the dispensary when necessary. Lara is a graduate from Quincy University and joined our team in August 2004. She specializes as an optometric technician with emphasis on contact lenses. Both Misti and Lara bring a wealth of experience to the clinic with the knowledge and training of special high technology equipment for ocular disease diagnosis. They are also well trained on our Epic 2000 digital refracting system that utilizes a series of computers to accurately determine your eyeglass prescription.
Linda is our front office team leader. She has been a part of the Family EyeCare team for some time now. She is responsible for helping you with all of your scheduling and billing inquiries and is qualified to answer any insurance questions. You will most likely speak to her when you call our office.
